Well construction for Pajal Bajo

Sns has provided 11,025 Euro in the earth quake area of Equador for the construction of a well with sanitary facilities in the village of “Pajal Bajo” and its school “Nueve de Noviembre”.
In the record time of almost two months the villagers completed the construction of the well project as well as the construction of the sanitary facilities. Thanks to a lot of donors the villagers now have enough water for their needs. The project managr Teresita Moricada (Equadorian) supervised the works and she tried to do the work as cost-effectively as possible.
She succeeded in every way: the whole village community actively helped to make the dream of running water in the village square come true. With the amount of 7,000 Euro they would like to help build a well in the neighbouring community. What solidarity!
